Q: Is the site drive‑in?

Yes. A gravel driveway brings you to the clearing. Standard clearance vehicles recommended.

Tucked at the end of a gravel drive, you'll find a hand‑built 22×32 platform with a spacious 20′ white bell tent. Inside, unwind with cozy seating and rustic charm; outside, gather around the fire pit or sink into multiple Adirondack chairs as the sun rises or the stars come out.

About Camp Butz

The clearing is about a half acre, surrounded by untouched woods for a true off‑grid feel. Wake up to birdsong, spend your day exploring, biking, swimming, hiking or driving the beautiful Vermont roads, then return to your own secluded camp. The site is rustic, a work in progress, expect forest floor, rocky and rooty ground, and the sounds of nature all around. There are a few different woodpeckers around!

We provide the essentials: a sturdy tent, chairs, bathroom, non‑potable rain water (boil water to drink) and a fire ring. You bring your sleeping gear, food, and spirit of adventure. Perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers looking to disconnect and recharge in nature.

Come experience simple Vermont glamping, private, peaceful, and close to the wild. Please note, this is our families camp, and a work in progress, so feedback is very welcome and encouraged!
